Palfab, one of our joint venture partners, is one of Ireland's largest suppliers of sawn softwood products for use in the construction, pallet, packaging, fencing and garden accessory industries.

Our other joint venture partner, Mid-Cork Pallets & Packaging was established over 30 years ago and is the leading manufacturer of pallets in Ireland.

The objective of EPAL is to put at the disposal of the European market an exchangeable EUR pool pallet of sufficient quality with uniform exchange criteria. Eirebloc has been certified by EPAL since December 2008 and undergoes ongoing routine inspection as part of that certification.

CHEP is the global leader in pallet pooling services.


FEFPEB, the European Federation of Wooden Pallet and Packaging Manufacturers was established in 1946 and is recognised as the European Federation of representative national associations in the field of timber packaging. Eirebloc joined FEFPEB in 2010 and was a sponsor of its 2010 Congress in Brussels.


Both sister companies of Eirebloc, Cygnum is one of the leading manufacturers of timber system solutions in the UK & Ireland and Get Outer Space supplies and builds contemporary and environmentally friendy living spaces using modern methods of construction for the residential sector in the UK & Ireland.



The LIFE programme is the EU’s funding instrument for the environment. The general objective of LIFE is to contribute to the implementation, updating and development of EU environmental policy and legislation by co-financing pilot or demonstration projects with European added value.

Eirebloc was a partner in two Life projects being the Clean Wood which is dedicated to researching, developing and demonstrating a technology that would shred contaminated post-consumer wood, cleanse it of impurities through a special screening technology, and channel it to a variety of new-life commercial uses and tyreblock which researches and developes a process for manufacturing pallet blocks from waste wood and waste tyre derived materials.

Enterprise Ireland is the government organisation responsible for the development and growth of Irish enterprises in world markets. As a high potential start-up, Enterprise Ireland were a great support to Eirebloc in helping us to start-up, grow, innovate and win export sales.

Future SME is is a major cross-European project involving 26 partners from Ireland, UK, Italy, Turkey, Poland, Sweden, Czech Republic and Slovakia. Supported by the EU Framework 7 programme, the project sets out to deliver a set of practical tools and methodologies to assist European SMEs reach and maintain worldwide competitiveness. Eirebloc’s commitment to continuous improvement is borne out by its involvement in this project.
